Vesper Country Club Review

Vesper Country Club Review

Birthed from the merger of the Vesper Boat Club, and the Lowell Country Club, these two clubs officially became the Vesper Country Club in 1899. Located on Tyngs Island in the Merrimack River, Vesper is a charter member of the Massachusetts golf association, and is considered one of the finest clubs in New England. Currently ranked as the 25th best course in the state of Massachusetts, Vesper has hosted major golf events, including five Massachusetts Open championships, several Massachusetts Amateur Championships, the New England Amateur, and the 2023 U.S. Senior Amateur Qualifier. Originally designed by Donald Ross and then restored by Brian Silva in 2008, Vesper tips out at over 6,700 yards with a rating of 73.1 and a slope of 134.
